Film Reflection 3
On my third day of filming I decided to stick to one location and focus on creating more intresting different shots to make the music video have more movement to make it more intresting and easy to watch. I filmed on Tuesday 30th october at 11:30, this way i would not have any issues like last time reguarding lighting. When I got there I begun filming and it was going really well. However soon after I begun filming an icon came up on the screen showing that I had no space on my tape, therefore I was unable to carry on with my recording. However I felt this wasnt a waste of my time as I gathered some footage that could be useful and allowed me to have practice with a new piece of equipment I was to use to make my music video include more movement. As I could no longer work on my filming I decided to create designs for my digi pack with the photos I took on my Second day of filming.

Dolby
Some lovely camera angles and great mise-en-scene. As discussed, despite it being a slow song, try and get some 'movement'. Go back to some RMA's and look at how you could vary the camera movement to keep it interesting.

Editing Reflection 2
On my second day of editing I felt it went well due to the amount of time I spent on it and the overall outcome. I added in the new footage from my second day of filming which I then edited. When looking through my editing there are several blank spaces. This is due to the fact I have only reordered one location, therefore I have had to leave spaces for this part of the song. There are also gaps from mistakes when filming, for example issues with the timing and lip sinking. Another issue I had was the lighting. The lighting from my first filming is a lot darker than my 2nd day of filming, therefore they look different. From this issue i can now see that when i record for my second draft I shall record for a longer period of time and get a lot more footage to ensure i won't have to go out on another day. I have added in a few transitions but not all the zooms and close-ups. I think that this is a good first draft as it gives me an insight as to how the final video will look. Also my creating this first draft it has allowed me to see where i went wrong and how I can improve therefore next time it shall be a lot easier and have a better outcome.

Filming Reflection 2
Once I had edited my first filming I decided it would be a good idea to film for a second time. As I encountered some issues the first time, therefore this would allow me to correct it. This time I started filming at 12:30 and finished at 3:00 therefore i didn't have the issue of it becoming to dark and the editing software not picking up the footage, due to the darkness. Another issue I resolved was the amount of time I would record for. I increased the amount I started and stop each shot to allow more room for me to edit and cut the clip. As well as this I took more takes of each shot as this would allow me to chose the best one. Overall I am pleased with this day of filming and felt it has been very useful.
Photos 2
As you can see from my previous post I have created a variety of different designs for both the digi pack and the advert. On my second day of filming for my first draft I decided it would be a good idea to take more photographs. This would allow me to create more designs for the digi pack and advert creating the best one possible. I felt these photos went well as I have used various amounts of different styled shots, to allow variation, for example the type of shot-(close-up), the position of the model and their facial exspression. I uploaded the photos and made them into black and white. This is because my music video will be in black and white therefore they will link together. Overall I am pleased with these photos and will help towards the final product of my digi pack and advert. I will create a new post to show new digi pack design with these photographs to compare. I shall also think about using both photo shoots together as this could work well and be effective. Here are the images I took:

Advert Designs
I have created different styles and designs for the advert of my ancillary task. I have used a variety of different backgrounds, images, font styles and colours. When creating these adverts I looked back at the layouts I had created for the planning stage, for a lot of these designs I kept to the layouts which I found useful and helped saved time, on the other hand I changed some elements due to how it looked visually when I created them. I feel that all of these adverts are good and with development I shall find one that is appropriate and suitable. When choosing and designing my final advert I shall ensure it works and goes well with the style and appearance of the digi pack.

Digi Pack Designs
As you can see I have created a variety of combinations for my digi pack. I used images I felt were suitable and appropriate for each part of the digi pack, i looked at different font styles and colours. When creating the digi pack designs I referred to my planning layouts, however I felt that when making them I didn't exactly stick to the layout due to how it visually looked. When creating and choosing my digi pack final design i shall ensure it goes well with the advert to link them together. Overall I am pleased with my designs and feel will development I will create a good and successful digi pack.
Photos 1
Here is a variety of photos that I took for the ancillary. As you can see I have edited all the photos into black and white, this is due to my music video being in black and white, therefore linking them both together. As you can see from the photos I have included different shots for example; close-ups, extreme close-ups, long shots and medium shots. As well as looking at the type of shots I also took shots from different angles and positions to make them more interesting. I got a variety of shots that included the guitar and some without to ensure I had a large variety as this would allow me to be more experimental with the layouts for my digi pack and advert. As well as taking images of the artist i felt it as important to capture other elements that could possibly be used for the design of the digi pack and advert, therefore i took images of the graffiti wall and the guitar. Overall I am pleased will all of my photos and feel that a lot of them can be used in my ancillary task.
