Mrs D
The evaluation is coming along well. You need to be more specific with your 9 frames annotations. Stop mentioning genre, emotions etc and state what emotions and what genre. Be specific. make sure you are mentioning technologies at question 4 rather than just brands.

Music Video Feed Back
As part of this process I felt it would be a good idea to ask my target market on what they thought of my music video. I asked 10 people to go onto my blog and watch all four of my music video drafts and to give me feeback on what they thought. When people got back to me I found that they all said each time it had progressed and was better. The majority of people said that the first draft was good however felt it was a bit boring and didn't have much phase or movement. Therefore the second, third and fourth were a lot better as he moved about more which created phase and so did the editing. Another element that made the music video have phase was the variety of different shots as my first draft consisted of a lot of shots with him jsut playing the guitar, therefore this time I have used different agnels and used more movement with the camera. At the beggining it pans around the artsit, Many people liked this bit and the transition into the next shot, creating a powerful start. Everyone I asked liked the fourth draft best as they felt this was the most successful. They felt the linking with the candel shot was clever as to how it was repeated throughout the music video and then was the last shot in the music video, ending it well, and how it ends with the candel blowing out. Everyone commented on the surrounding/location of the music video and thought it was great and looked very good. They also felt that the location sutied the artist and his genre of music. They also commneted on it being in black and white, which many of them liked, as it is diffrent and not many music videos are in black and white, therefore it makes it memorable. A negative comment on my fourth draft was there was a slight issue with lip sinking, therefore for my final I shall ensure that the lip sinking is exact as this is a very important part of the music video. Overall I am very pleased with the feeback I collect from my target market and have found it very useful. Now I have collected this feedback from my target market I can make these changes to my music promo.

Ancillary Feed Back
As part of this process I felt a good idea would be to get feedback on my ancillary task, which included my digi pack and advert. To get this data I collected it from my target market. I asked 10 people to go onto my blogger and look at my digi pack and advert design and to give me feed back. Everyone I asked liked both designs and felt they would do well in promoting and selling the artist through the use of photos and style of design. They liked the font style that is used as it goes with the genre of music and style of artist. Many of them commented about the editing of the photos, and how I had used colour with black and white, making it eye-catching and memorable as it was different. They felt the layout was successful as all the writing was clear and easy to see and read. As well as the comments being positive there were some negative comments on both the digi pack and the advert. Many people said due to the style of the photos used it was clearly linked to the music video, therefore it became unclear as to whether it was an album or a single. Another comment was the colour choice of the font. People said that it was quite a feminine choice and suggested more masculine colours such as blue, green and orange.
Overall I found gathering feedback from my target very useful. Since I got this feedback I decided to change my digi pack and advert. I took more images of my singer in a different location and with different clothing. By doing this it would clearly show that its a realise of an album and not a single. I have also decided to chagne the font colour to blue. I feel this colour is more sutiable for the singer and the genre of music. I have decided to keep the same font style as I think it goes well with the genre of music and the artist himself. I have included the graffiti wall in this digi pack, as this will link the album and the music video together, but in a more discrete way. On the first page of the leaflet I created many images of the artist in the style of a polaroid frame, this makes the page intresting and eye-catching, which is similar to my first digi pack through the use of the photos being in colour and black and white. The photos are variyed in shot and style, therefore this makes it intresting and helps to promote the artist in different ways. Each polariod includes the song names which are featured on the album, informing the reader. I have included two other pages from the booklet, which include a large image of the artist and the lyrics to two of his songs which are featured in the album. Therefore once I had created my new digi pack I designed my new advert in the same style, to link them together. I used the same photo that is on the front cover of the album to link them together. I used a white font to make it standout and be bold against the image. The same blue that is on the album cover has been used to help link them together, which has been colour picked from the orignal image, to get them exact. The advert includes information to inform the reader, however doesnt include a lot of text to make the poster eye-catching and standout.
Overall I feel that this is a more successful digi pack and advert as it is not the same as the music video, but still has some elements to link them together. The digi pack and advert clearly show the genre of music and promote him as an artist.

Editing Reflection 3
Once I had recorded for the third time I begun to edit on the software. I felt this went well as I could see a lot more improvement from my first raft. Firstly due to the amount of different shots that makes the music video have pass and therefore is more interesting to watch. I have also begun to add in effectives also making the music video more interesting and easy to watch. Overall I am so far pleased with my editing and shall be carrying on.
Filming Reflection 3
Due to the technical difficultly I had during my second day of recording I decided it would be appropriate to film for a third time. I Filmed on the 14th November at 7:30am, I felt this was a good time as it would not get dark, and therefore I wouldn't have any issues with lighting, which I had in previous days of filming. This time I felt was the most successful. This was due to my planning. On the previous recordings I have felt unorganised and I felt this showed when I begun the process of editing as I didn't have enough footage, or recorded the exact bits needed. Therefore this time I create a sheet which clearly showed me the lyrics to be sung and the action that would go with this. I found this very useful and made the process of filming quick and easy. Another reason for planning in detail was due to the fact I was changing some elements of the music video due to the feedback I gathered on my first draft. This time I feel have more variety in shots and hopes this will show in the final product. Overall I am pleased with this day of filming.

Dolby
Well done for making a booklet to go with the digipak. I would still be thinking about the fact you are releasing an album not a single so a variety of images to show different songs would be good.

Mrs D
Well done for hitting your deadline. You have lots of different ancillary tasks to choose from. Get some audience feedback to help you decide. Well done.
